All five Ironwood Ridge runners finished in the top 15, paving the way to the team’s second-straight Class 5A Division II girls cross country state championship Saturday at the Cave Creek Golf Course.

An Ironwood Ridge trio of Sarah Miville, Allison Crawford and Kat Howard finished fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively. Lauren Cooper (ninth) and Sam Strange (14th) rounded out the Nighthawks scoring.
