Max Davis, Riley Human and Nate Milton all placed in the top 16 for Flagstaff, which secured its fourth consecutive Division 2 boys title at the Arizona AIA State Championships at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Davis covered the 5-kilometer course in 16:34.8 to place 10th, Human ran 16:35.5 to finish 12th and Milton finished in 16:50.3 for 16th to help Flagstaff hold off Casteel by a 128-144 margin.
