Highland junior Caroline McLeskey placed third in the Division 1 girls final at the Arizona AIA State Championships at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. McLeskey, second last year, covered the 5-kilometer course in 18:24 to help Highland place third overall with 105 points.
