Taryn Janssen, a freshman at Glendale Prep Academy, placed second in the Division 4 girls final at the Arizona state championship meet at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Janssen clocked 20:21.1 to help Glendale Prep finish second as a team by a 69-86 margin against Northwest Christian.
