Desert Vista freshman Emily Littlefield finished ninth in the 5-kilometer Division 1 girls final in 18:55.8 at the Arizona AIA state championship meet at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Littlefield helped Desert Vista capture its first Division 1 state title since 2016 and sixth in program history with a 49-99 victory over Highland.
