Perry sophomore Taylor Lovell finished third in the 5-kilometer Division 1 girls final in 18:35.3 at the Arizona AIA state championship meet at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Lovell, who placed ninth at last year's meet in 19:29.2, helped Perry take fifth with 139 points.
